How do I make the most of my Membership?
The old adage "you get out, what you put in" is appropriate for all membership and networking groups. However, as veterans we have both a special bond and expectations of each other based on our service.
In 2020, yes that 2020, there were 63 members in FAVOB Space Coast. Those members exchanged ~$1M in revenue! All because they were active FAVOB members.
Here are some "keys to success" to increase your opportunity to THRIVE -
Ensure your Base Camp Business Profile is complete and up-to-date. Thousands of searchs are made each day on-line to find veteran owned businesses.
Be there. Show up to networking and professional development opportunities. People what to get to know, like and trust you and do business with you.
Have an effective 2-3m business pitch "Elevator Speech"
What do you do? For whom and why?
What makes you different from your competition? What value do you provide your customers?
What do people say about you?
Ask for the business.
Build your reputation and reviews on social media. Become a subject matter expert on your products and services and share your expertise online and newsletters. Ask for reviews so others trust your abillity to deliver.
Develop a network of "natural partners." Those who do business with the same customer base, but do not compete with each other. Think realtor and property surveyor.
