Eighteen sets of tech-startup founders coming out of StarterStudio’s accelerator programs will take to the stage Nov. 4 to pitch their early-stage companies at The Abbey, 101 S. Eola Dr., in Orlando.The event is open to the public and offers an inside view into the latest innovations being developed in Central Florida by high-tech and tech-enabled startups. Industries represented by the startups range from automotive to real estate, travel, energy, education, insurance, sports, fin-tech and more.The teams in Class 11 of the 10-week Ideation Stage Accelerator, sponsored by IBERIABANK, have been focused on how to create a sustainable business, articulate how their businesses work, and take the next steps needed to move forward. They are the first class to take part in programming offered by CO.STARTERS, a nationwide network supporting a wide range of startups.The eight teams in Class 4 of the Seed Stage Accelerator have been focused on getting their more developed early-stage startups investor- and market-ready. Both accelerator programs offer the tools to enable founders to start and scale in Central Florida and are supported by mentors who are successful entrepreneurs, industry experts and subject-matter experts.The event begins with networking and a cash bar at 5:30 p.m., followed by pitches from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at starterstudio.org/demo-day-11.
