Scott Jensen has served as the Executive Director of NVSBC since August 2020. Scott is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business owner and an executive with extensive experience in leadership and management across a 30-plus year career. He has served as the CEO for Team Red, White & Blue; CEO for Protect Our Defenders; and as the Assistant Vice President for Leadership Development Programs at the American Council on Education. With a passion for serving the veteran small business and nonprofit communities, Scott leverages his experience and expertise to support and lead veteran-owned businesses and organizations serving them to maximize their capabilities through best practices and innovative approaches in the competitive Federal marketplace. Scott is a retired Marine Corps colonel and naval aviator. He is not only a proud Naval Academy graduate and veteran himself, but he is equally proud to be the son of a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and the father of an active-duty Navy officer.
Scott Semple serves as Special Advisor to the NVSBC Executive Director. With extensive knowledge and experience in business strategy and operations in the Federal government marketplace, Scott has served as a senior business executive, entrepreneur, technologist, and strategic advisor to Federal and commercial clients globally. He also envisioned and led the founding of the nation's largest not for profit organization dedicated to advancing business opportunities for veteran entrepreneurs. Scott has a diverse professional network of Federal leaders in DoD & civilian agencies as well as commercial firms. He is an experienced executive with 20+ years of “hands-on” management & leadership in technology.
